Cinteotl nobel Prince of Corn
Attends to the embellishment of a Corn Sun.
In hand a tortilla and his staff of deer horn
Wearing an amulet of little blue dove.

It is he who holds the throne
The chief of blue corn reborn.
He belongs to the tutelage
Of red snake and her five colors of corn.

Again the new fields of green
Root from the shell of earth turtle.
Xilonen maiden of new silky corn returns
Of new life they will attend.

Together they live in the house
Blessed by the glorious Corn Sun.
