Sun Child

Salty wet with sun streaked hair
She lived in a jeweled cove beyond the waves.
Singing melodious notes only angels could hear
Splashing wet and wild
Born a Sun Child.

Colors of sherbet and wine
Roll across the sea to her eyes.
She reaches to her sun lover
Seeing her abode where sun touches sky.

We will dive deep together beneath the sea
Leaving the sky dark with twinkling stars.
To dwell together in our dreamy eyes
As we turn to meet
Morning’s sunrise.
